Help Each Other …
For as long as I can remember, I was told I’m an encourager. What that means to me is that I can see and verbalize my admirations, support, and hopefully help others know they’re seen. When I started my career as a Personal Trainer and Coach for Women close to 10 years ago, I was so excited to help others through my job.
What I didn’t realize, is that my job helping others, would also help me.
When I was 40, my constant gut issues tested positive for allergies to wheat, lactose, almonds and more. At 41, I injured my spine and started having panic attacks which earned me a diagnosis of anxiety disorder. When I was 42, I started experiencing Perimenopause symptoms and hormone imbalance which showed up as weight gain, sleeplessness, hot flashes, irregular / heinous cycles, etc. Now, at 45, I’m wholeheartedly, coaching myself with the same advice I share with my in person and online clients … do the work, get help, and never give up on you.
I am grateful for this life God has given me, grace to grow in humility and learn to accept help from others, and the opportunity to practice what I preach and experience what daily exercise, mobility, strength training, self care, proper nutrition, better sleep, counseling, physical therapy, balanced workouts, plenty of rest, great hydration, a healthy metabolism, and a renewed sense of confidence and self worth can do for a midlife woman.
Welcome to Breanna Smith Fitness. I’m so glad we can help each other.
